Redline at the speed you talk.

Say a callout the way you’d say it out loud. SayPep types it the way it goes on the drawing, right where your cursor is in Bluebeam, AutoCAD or Revit.

built where redlines happen

Tuned on 5,000 real markup comments

Engineering mode was built inside a structural engineering firm and tuned on its own redlines. We turned 344 real callouts into spoken words and ran them back through: 78% came out exactly as the engineer wrote them. Most of the rest are things teams write two ways, like W/ and WITH.

TYP · EA · SIM · DIA · EW

Common abbreviations without periods.

O.C. · U.N.O.

With periods, the way they’re usually written.

(2) KING · (3) 10d

Counts in parentheses.

no period at the end

Callouts end clean, like they do on a sheet.

Site visits and punch lists

Start with “checklist” and say the items. You get a list that matches the app you’re in.

“Checklist: call the inspector, email Ryan the calcs, and send the invoice.”
- Call the inspector
- Email Ryan the calcs
- Send the invoice
Clients and RFIs

Professional mode turns how you talk into an email with your name on it: full sentences, no “um”s, no “gonna”.

“hey Sam so yeah the proposal’s done I’m gonna send it over Wednesday lemme know if you’ve got any questions”
Hey Sam, so the proposal’s done. I’m going to send it over Wednesday. Let me know if you’ve got any questions.
The contractor email you’d regret

Mavix mode keeps your point and drops the heat.

“Who the hell approved this change order? I’m so pissed off right now.”
Who approved this change order? I’m frustrated right now. Thank you.

Your client’s drawings stay yours

Speech turns into text on your own computer and the audio is thrown away. Nothing is recorded, nothing is sent, and once you’ve signed in it works with no signal on a jobsite.

  • Audio never leaves your computer
  • Works offline after a one-time sign-in
  • Nothing recorded, nothing stored

Questions engineers ask

Does it work inside Bluebeam?

Yes. SayPep types wherever your cursor is, including a Bluebeam markup or an AutoCAD text box. With “Remember per app” on, which it is by default, Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Revit open in Engineering mode on their own.

Will it turn my emails into callouts?

No. Engineering mode only runs where you use it. Outlook can stay in Professional while Bluebeam uses Engineering, and Ctrl+Alt+S (Control+Option+S on a Mac) switches modes anytime.

What about our project names and odd part numbers?

Add them to your dictionary once and SayPep spells them your way. On Crew, one dictionary covers the whole office.

Is Engineering mode free?

You can use it 10 times a week on the free plan. Pro and Crew use it as much as they like.

Is anything about our drawings sent anywhere?

No. Your voice is turned into text on your computer, and the audio is discarded right away. Here’s why we can’t hear you.

Redline out loud.
